Montero's dam is Peruvian Sollocata, imported and owned by Pacific Crest Alpacas. His sire is Ppperuvian Auzengate, imported from the Alianza region in Peru. He was sold soon after to an Australian farm for high dollar. Auzengate is a notable sire in Australia, leaving just a very few of his line here in the U.S.
Montero is owned by Cindy and Rick Hartley, Red Moon Alpacas.
